Red Kettle Campaign

Southside will participate in the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Ringing on December 9-12, 14, 2020. Volunteers will take a two-hour shift (10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) at the Publix at the corner of St. Augustine Road and University Boulevard in the Lakewood area. Funds raised will provide food, shelter, and support for people here in the Northeast Florida Community that need our support. You can help make a difference in the lives of so many.

Sounds of the Season

This combination event will be the December edition of Songs of Faith, Hope, and Love, as well as a formal recognition of Bette Mattox for 54 years of faithful service to Southside Baptist Church. Although the musical portion of the event will be live-streamed, we are encouraging audiences to come participate in person and be a part of the reception for Bette following the program.

DNow

Students come together for a weekend of discipleship. We will gather in fellowship, grow in worship and time spent with God, and serve in our community. Contact Bryan Cunningham for more information.

Service of Lament

Join us as we worship and sing on Tuesday, October 6, at 7:00 p.m., in the sanctuary for this service of lament. Members of Southside will share personal stories of suffering (caused by the pandemic, illness, isolation, pregnancy/baby loss). We will acknowledge our pain and cry out to God in community, praying for healing.
