Throughout the Bible, believers are called to pray. Prayer can make a profound difference in our world but it is up to us to offer our prayers humbly and regularly. Come gather with us on the first Tuesday of every month as we support and encourage one another, and seek to change our church and community through the power of prayer.

Pre-K and KidWorship allows children to draw closer to God while worshipping in a developmentally appropriate way. This time of worship includes prayer, songs, scripture, and the Gospel message with games and lots of energy added in to truly engage children. This combination event will be the December edition of Songs of Faith, Hope, and Love, as well as a formal recognition of Bette Mattox for 54 years of faithful service to Southside Baptist Church. Although the musical portion of the event will be live-streamed, we are encouraging audiences to come participate in person and be a part of the reception for Bette following the program.
Southside will participate in the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Ringing on December 9-12, 14, 2020. Volunteers will take a two-hour shift (10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) at the Publix at the corner of St. Augustine Road and University Boulevard in the Lakewood area. Funds raised will provide food, shelter, and support for people here in the Northeast Florida Community that need our support. You can help make a difference in the lives of so many.
