Senior Adult Ministry
Senior adults are a valued, vital part of Southside Baptist Church. They provide a backbone of support and knowledge from which younger members of the church can draw for advice and encouragement.
Heritage Singers is our Senior Adult Choir that provides a place of fellowship as seniors enjoy making music together.
Keenagers
Keenagers, Southside's Senior Adult Fellowship Group meets at noon the first Friday of each month. This special program involves senior adults in fun, fellowship, and ministry-oriented activities and is open both to members of Southside and to the community at large. Enjoy lunch, music and a program designed especially for senior adults. Special guest entertainers highlight the programs most meetings. Join us for Keenagers and join in the fun!
Southside Travelers
Southside Travelers conducts one-day trips and extended excursions for those who like to site-see, take historical tours, visit parks, and attend plays and sporting events in a Christian spirit and attitude of fun. Though Southside Travelers is designed as a ministry to senior adults all ages are invited to participate in the activities. |
