What is ICG?
Southside's Institute for Christian
Growth (ICG) is a series of small and large group class experiences offered on Wednesday evenings as a part of our exciting CenterPoint program.
Each quarter, the Institute for Christian Formation offers a selection of two to three ICG classes that are taught on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 pm over a series of weeks.
The pastor and other members of the pastoral staff, as well as members of the congregation, lead these studies. Past studies have included such courses as Being a Contagious Christian, The Gospel of Mark, C. S. Lewis' Mere Christianity, and the Book of Revelation.
No advance registration is needed to attend and the classes are free of charge. In some cases participants are encouraged to purchase a book or workbook on which the study is based. Information on this is provided the first week of class. Typically course content is sequential in nature, each week building on the previous week's work, and, therefore, participants need to attend each session in order to receive maximum benefit.
