Becoming a Member
Anyone interested in membership in Southside Baptist Church is encouraged to attend the Exploring Membership Class offered on the second Sunday of each month at 9:30 in the Church Conference Room. There are three ways to become a member of Southside Baptist Church:
Profession of Faith
A profession of faith is a commitment to change the direction of your life by turning to God for direction. Everyone has failed to meet God's standard for how we ought to live. God is willing to forgive you if you accept Jesus as the perfect example of how you ought to live and the ultimate authority over your life. Statement of Faith
A statement of faith is transferring your membership to Southside Baptist Church from another church that holds similar beliefs in Jesus Christ as Savior and in Believer's Baptism.
Letter
Joining the church by transfer of letter means that another Baptist church where you are a member sends a letter, upon your request, to transfer your membership to Southside Baptist Church.
