Membership

A person becomes a Christian by trusting in Jesus Christ as the ultimate guide for his or her life. While the decision to become a Christian is an individual one, the Christian life is lived in a distinctive community called the church - the Body of Christ. People who have become followers of Christ are encouraged to join a church, the local expression of Christ's Body. This is how we grow and are discipled as Christ's followers.

For those not yet sure they're ready to become members, but who want to explore the possibility, Southside offers a class especially designed for you - Exploring Membership - that meets the second Sunday of each month from 9:30 - 11:00am in the church conference room.

Whether or not you're a member at Southside, another church, or no church at all, this section will help you discover how Southside comes together as a church body.
